We chose the Jewel based on the dates. It is extremely hot where we live and we wanted the change to cooler weather! We were NOT disappointed! The weather was cool almost cold but delightful! It rained/misted for much of the trip, but even that was pleasant! However, during the excursions, Alaska showed her best by NOT pouring rain on us!

The excursions were well organized and executed to be the best experience for each guest! Plus, there was a wide variety available catered to the abilities each guest was able to tolerate.

The food was available to each guest was outstanding, and the specialty dining options we tried (Moderno, Teppanyaki, and Le Bistro) were exceptionally excellent, and the service in each was top notch! Read more
