We love alaska cruising. The Ruby Princess is in excellent condition. Our cabin was spacious and comfortable. The bed was very good for my back. The food in the Crown grill was delicious and the waitstaff very helpful and attentive. The casino staff was kind and remembered me from previous cruises, they comped my drinks more than once. The bingo caller was amusing and not too fast. The waitstaff in the International Grill was very attentive and anticipated our drink and food requests. Jude in the Wine bar was fun and extremely kind. The Naturalist onboard was very informative and many times pointed out whales, otters and other wildlife as we were sailing. The Park Ranger who spoke as we cruised the glacier area was very knowledgeable. We didn't go on any excursions but enjoyed the ship and each port. We have certain restaurants we like in Juneau and Skagway. Taxi service was easy to find and use in Juneau.
