Carnival Splendor, Mexican Riviera, January 17-23, 2010 Review

I am writing this review from what I think is my most favorite place in the world. We have an ocean view cabin on the Main deck (deck 2) of the Carnival Splendor. These cabins have a very large picture window which has a windowsill that is approximately 2 feet wide (maybe 1.5 feet). I love to pull out the extra comforter that Carnival gives you, place it in the windowsill with some pillows and climb on up. I pull the curtains closed and I feel like I'm in a private train compartment. Only . . . .the ocean is right below me, and it stretches to meet the beautiful blue sky. I love to climb up here and just gaze into the ocean and daydream. I watch for fish, land, birds (not many) and when the ship is going in the right direction, watch the sun rise. I'll keep you all updated on what I see. I'm keeping my fingers crossed to see whales as this is prime whale watching/migrating season in this part of the ocean.

So, on with the review, typed as I sit perched in my favorite spot in the world.
