My husband and I chose this Celebrity Equinox cruise because we like this ship and the dates suited our work schedule, we have done over 50 cruises in the Caribbean, therefore, we have visited most of the ports of call, many times before. We are both in our early 50s and choose Celebrity because we like to be surrounded by mainly adult couples and most without children.
Now we live in Florida permanently, however, we are from Ireland and England originally, although we never cruised in Europe. In the past we cruised with our 2 boys, however, they are men now and cruise with their partners.
When we cruised with our boys, we were looking for lots of activities on the ship, water slides, kids clubs, therefore, we cruised; Carnival and Royal Caribbean mainly.
This cabin was very close to the back of the ship, so plenty of exercise to and from the buffet, bars, etc. Cabin was like most balcony cabins on Celebrity Solstice class. The real difference as the balcony, it was a third larger than most, you could of had 2 sun loungers, however, they had 2 sun chairs that reclined and a small table. Our cabin attendant, Roberto was wonderful. We requested; fresh ice and 2 extra bath towels every day and never forgot. He made sure to replenish toiletries when needed and always wished us a nice day. He kept our cabin spotlessly clean and tidy. Wish we could take him home.
7 mile beach is the place to go, just take a taxi yourself.
