We had a visitor from overseas, so decide to take our second Alaskan Cruise, our first time to Glacier Bay, and on to Whittier. The scenery on this cruise was awesome, and to say they left the best till last is an under-statement!! College Fjord is amazing, and the Harvard Glacier put on a show of exceptional quality.

There was of course some rain in Skagway and Juneau, but the trip wasn't really negatively impacted by that, except for one excursion for one of our party, but a suitable alternative was offered.

The Star Princess was as expected, I have sailed on her in the Med 7 years ago or so, but she was certainly refreshed since then. The crew were great, and the food was mostly excellent, except for a few minor exceptions. The shows however, were mostly Blah, with a repetitive selection of individual vocalists. The Star's Singers and Dancer put on an OK Motown show, but they did certainly lift their game for an Excellent British Invasion show. Ben the Magician was excellent too!

Oceanview (obstructed view)

Cabin OV

Very standard room, with an Obstructed view. The view however was adequate, and you could clearly see to the horizon.
