1. On embarkation day our rooms were not ready until about 4 PM. Yet we had been made to arrive at 11:00 using the pre-paid shuttle bus from our hotel. We had nowhere to put the items we carried with us (ipads, medicines) so we were VERY limited in what we could do for all those hours. We would have been much happier staying in Honolulu for the day and arriving at the ship much later on. We were basically prisoners on the ship for those hours.

2. We had double and triple checked well in advance that the children traveling with us would not need photo id (passports) since we were within the United States. Wham, at the port we were asked to present photo ID of the 4 and 9-year old grandchildren, which we did not have. This caused a delay and stress for all of us until it was determined that we would be allowed to board.

3. The buffet area had insufficient seating and we often had to struggle to find a table for the six in our party.
