I wanted a short getaway and wanted to see CUBA. I did not have high expectations for NCL, but this ship changed my mind. It was all inclusive, meaning free drinks. You would think the service would be slow or lots of drunks running around. Nothing like that. The service was the best that I have had in a cruise boat and I did not see any obnoxious drunks. The restaurant, bar and cleanup staff were top notch. The boat looked so good, hard to believe it is that old. I like the size of the boat, as there were no long lines at the elevators, crowded buffets or difficulty finding a dining table. No more large ships for me!

I read bad reviews about the food. I disagree! It was a lot better than most cruises. Come on folks, the meat and fish are all frozen. What do you expect? Some of the vegetarian chooses were great. My husband really loved the lunch time pizza bar. The breakfast bar was really good.

My only complaint was on our room steward. The worst service on any cruise. The room was spacious , but the bathroom small and I hated that shower curtain. Read more
