We picked this cruise as we wanted to visit Europe and the ship was only at sea 1 day. Embarkation was very easy and we thought this is great. Once on the ship things changed quickly. We usually book balcony rooms, however since there was 4 of us and we wanted to see Europe, we decided to put that money to better use. We booked a family inside midship. OMG it was the smallest room I had ever seen, the toilet was separate from the shower and the doors were glass, so basically no privacy. The sink to wash your hand that was on the desk top in the other room. Also when the top bunks were down, it was impossible to get out of bed without pulling a muscle, in your back or legs. Our safe was broken the entire week and many came to look at it but no-one actually repaired it. We purchased water bottles prior to getting on the ship and it took 4 visits to guest service and a very extensive research by the manager at guest services to finally receive the water. Our dinner was always cold and bar staff not friendly and actually very dismissive. Our cruise director left the ship at Barcelona and another cruise director got on, mid-week. Very unusual. The evenings were very boring and we were asleep by 9pm. Unless you go to the casino and lose all your money. I was glad we were off the ship on port days and we basically picked this cruise for the ports. As there was not much else to do on this ship and the staff was not very friendly.
