I LOVED this ship and was SO looking forward to going on her again. Imagine my disappointment to see all the negative changes. It made me very sad.
Fewer common areas, replaced with many new cabins. Sadly, the infrastructure could not accommodate the added passengers and service was severely sacrificed. I more often than not had to clear a table for myself in the Windjammer. Many more line ups were common. There was fighting in the bars and many teen age children were completely out of control. They were loud, disrespectful, fighting, knocking on doors late at night, dropping water bombs on passengers from several decks above, swearing at passengers, tossing pizza on the elevator floors, fighting with bar staff in trying to be served alcohol, spilling drinks and walking away.....etc. Neither parents or security were on top of it. It was like the kids were running the ship. Many older passengers were scared by them...it was disgusting!! No movie theatre for sea days.
On the up side....the entertainment in the pub was GREAT!! We had lovely singalongs every night, made new friends, and Robbie knew every song ever written!! He sure knows how to entertain a crowd of multi ages and backgrounds!!!
