This was our first cruise with Celebrity after two prior cruises with Royal Caribbean. We chose the Summit because we loved visiting Bermuda on the Anthem of the Seas and wanted to spend more time there, which this cruise offered (three days in Bermuda on the Summit as opposed to two with the Anthem.) The Summit is, unsurprisingly, noticeably smaller than the Anthem. This really shows on embarkation day when there are almost no lines to get on board. Regardless, finding a table in the Oceanview Cafe (the buffet restaurant) can be difficult between 8:00-9:30 AM and between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM. Sun deck loungers can also be troublesome to obtain on sea days with good weather, though it's possible if you look in the right places. This problem is exacerbated with the "rooftop terrace", which is an area of the ship large enough to comfortably have probably 75+ traditional sun loungers but instead has about 25 seats on patio-style couches. You can forget about getting a chair near the pool or in the solarium on sea days, they're gone by 9:00 AM and very little is done about chair hogs. Inside the ship, it's easy

The oceanview verandah cabins are very well-appointed and are the right size for two people although it would be tough to have someone in the overhead bunk and/or in the sofa bed as well. The cabins are, sadly, showing their age, and there is rust on the balconies, faded carpets, and the shower is getting small pockets of what appears to be mildew. Some tiles in the bathroom "squish" when you step on them. It isn't so bad that it ruins the cruise, and it will certainly be resolved in the 2019 drydock but for the time being it's a little tired.

We only ate in the Oceaview Cafe and the Cosmopolitan Restaurant (main dining room). Both had fantastic food and drinks. Other than the difficulty in finding tables in the oceanview one cannot give high enough ratings to the dining onboard. Our waiter, Edic, was very friendly and did a spectacular job.
