Ship was great and the crew, from the CAPT to the cruise director to the wait staff were very positive, friendly and helpful. Entertainment, especially the ships singers and dancers were weak - the country show they did was the worst show I have ever seen on a cruise ship. My time dining was a challenge, and turned into dine when we want you to; we ended up at the worst table in the MDR, but with two fabulous waiters who made the evenings very enjoyable and relaxing. Food was generally good to above average. Bar staff were efficient but some times did not know about the beer bucket specials being advertised. Our room attendant was friendly, attentive and efficient.

Venice and ports were all new to us. Pre-cruise Venice was beautiful but a little rainy. Dubrovnik was wonderful with friendly cab drivers, set tour prices, and a beautiful old city. Kotor was less friendly, with a scrum of cab drivers arguing for your business; we liked the old town here less than in Dubrovnik. Santorini was overcrowded with 5 ships and about 10,000 cruisers all trying to see the same things. At the last port we signed up for a ship sponsored tour of Olympia and a winery; in between we stopped for the obligatory shopping (waste of time), but the winery was interesting and enjoyable. Weather on the two sea days was poor, but I was not at work so who cares!

Overall a great cruise week with enjoyable visits to some new to us ports; we hope to be back to Dubrovnik and Santorini in the future.

Dubrovnik

Four of us shared a taxi tour for 4 stops with a drop off at the old town (50 Euros plus tip) - views were amazing and the cab driver was very knowledgeable friendly. We were offered an additional 2 hours of touring for 70 Euros, but declined. Old town was enjoyable and relatively inexpensive for food and drinks.

Kotor

Not as friendly or well organized as Dubrovnik. Not as much to see on the taxi tour. there was a scrum of cab drivers competing for your business with a wide variety of prices - so bargain hard! Old town was okay, but did not seem as friendly/inviting.

Santorini

Beautiful but overwhelmed with 5 cruise ships at once. caught an early tender and then paid 15 euros apiece for the boat ride/bus trip option to Oia, and included a bus back to Thira (busses left on the hour). Views from Oia were amazing but the place was packed. To much pushing and shoving, and not enough organization for the bus rides. We opted to walk down the steps instead of the long line for the cable car - walk took about 30+ minutes. The donkeys look more like mules to this one-time farm boy - watch where you step! Tenders were very efficient.
