We went as a family of 6 and had a terrific holiday! The ship itself is one of our favourites, my parents have sailed this ship 6 times. Our cabin (1097) was perfect, our room attendant Romeo was very polite and efficient. Cleanliness was 10/10, we also noticed the cabins had had a revamp, new bedding etc which it sorely needed, so this was a plus! The Oceanview Restaurant is busy (to be expected) but well run and lots to choose from. For the amount of people coming in and out the staff do well to keep on top of things. Main dining was great as usual, our servers were outstanding, Mario is so attentive and learned our names after the first night, gave us great recommendations and really went out of his way to make sure each of us was happy every evening. Mandelina was the perfect wine connoisseur and ran around every table like a headless chicken, but still went out of her way to chat to us and ask about our day, she is a gem. Our favourite dining experience was the Lawn Club, the food was out of this world, we actually ate there twice. The entertainment we find is always lacking on celebrity, this cruise particularly. The aerialists were the highlight, true talent and a fantastic show for everyone. The other shows were disappointing, our family are musical/ dance finatics and one of the main reasons we cruise is for the shows... which was a shame. The entertainment around the ship sadly wasn’t much better. The house band tended to sing the same playlist every day, and unfortunately weren’t exciting to watch like so many of them have been on previous trips. My sister usually revolves her days around where the house band are performing, this cruise - we actually left hoping to find something more exciting. On the final day we had no plans, so decided to have a wander into Naples for the first time (usually we go on a trip). Naples was amazing! So underestimated! The shops were great, the food was reasonably priced and it was just a generally nice place to walk around and take in! We love cruising and we love celebrity, I can never understand where the bad reviews come from! It’s a great ship with great people on it to make your experience even better. People who don’t like queues or busy restaurants should avoid ships with potentially 3000 other people on it! You can make what you want of this holiday, we definitely made the most of it!

Fantastic ship, great itinerary!
