Wife's Bucket List to see the Greek Isles and also a mini vacation in Italy. The embarkation process from Venice was rather smooth, like most ships now the main cabins board by group. The balcony cabin was well apportioned and well attended to. The ameneties on board for children was a little lacking (we travelled with a 10 year old) His kid's camp did not offer many kid friendly ameneties as with other cruise lines (I realize this itenerary is about the ports/locations and not the ship however try telling that to a 10 year old) Most of the service/staff on board was excellent however the service in the dining room seemed a bit slow. We ate on different nights so we had a relatively good sample size to make that assesssment. We ate at 3 specailty restaurants (Brazilian, Japanes, and French) The Brazilian meats were excellent and in my opinion the best of all the specialty restaurants. Shore excursions were well handled (Greece in the summer time is a cattle call no matter what you do) Tenders, Bus transportation and guides were smooth and friendly. Again, I know the cruise is location centric however I felt the sail away party(ies) were a bit subdued (again travelling from Europe has a lot to do with it) I didn't expect a full blown Mardi Gras experience however the music (one step up form elevator music) and enthusiasm (one step up from watching paint dry) only slightly dampened the cruise experience. All in all I would definitely take the cruise again. This is not the first NCL cruise for me or my family and we will definitely be cruising again with them in the near future.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BC

Balcony cabin, decent space, added benefit for me - separate shower and tub sections

Port Reviews

Kotor

Self guided walking tour around the port. Not a very large port with not a lot to see so we felt walking around the city in the port would suffice. Only drawback was a thunderstorm (30 minutes) so we got a free local shower!
