We chose this cruise because it left out of Galveston and it fit our summer schedule. We have cruised Carnival previously and wanted to visit Carnival again. From the minute we got to the port in Galveston to the minute we got off the ship a week later, we had the best experience. The food was really great, Swartz, the Cruise Director, was amazing as was all of the staff and crew. Our room with a balcony was clean and roomy. The ship was extremely well maintained and clean. The guests for the most part were nice and fun to be around. I travelled with my 17 year old daughter and there was a lot of activities of interest to her. We went to the Blue Lagoon in Nassau and had the dolphin, sea lion, and sting ray experience and it was perfect-fun, activity packed, staff courteous and professional. Freeport port was ok. Reminded us of a tired Cozumelmor Playa de Carmen.
Cabin was well maintained. It was a nice size and very doable for three people. Shower was a bit small. Ample closet space and other storage was plentiful. Balcony was roomy.
