We like cooler weather in the summer and we wanted to try vacationing outside of the U.S. for the first time. This cruise was perfect for us!

We did find the huge Breakaway quite crowded, but the staff took good care of us and managed any sudden crowding well. We mostly like to keep to ourselves, but really enjoyed swapping excursion stories with families from other countries. We had the truly great fortune to share our 2 day Alla Comfort Tour in St. Petersburg with a family of 3 from Brazil and a family of 4 from New Zealand allowing for some really fun cultural exchanges.

The opportunity to see Berlin, 2 days of St. Petersburg, Tallinn, Helsinki, Stockholm, and Copenhagen in one trip was exhausting in the BEST POSSIBLE WAY!

Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Perfect for 2 with great shower. (No tub and most of the extra footage seemed to be in the bathroom. We really enjoyed our steward Everton who greeted us with a song and was consistently cheerful as he went about his daily responsibilities. He was also patient with our unpredictable schedule.

Port Reviews

Copenhagen

We handled this on our own with 2 nights at the Copenhagen Admiral Hotel, no AC, but beautiful breezes and flawless service. (Some noise as you'll want to leave your windows open and people hang out in the summer at if hours)

The Admiral is in a wonderful location! We walked on our own to see the Amalienborg Palace, Frederik's Church, the Amalie Garden, Nyhavn, and even along the harbor to see the Little Mermaid Statue. We loved roaming around this area of Copenhagen!
