I have been on many cruises over the years. The independence was a great ship ruined by corporate greed to introduce hundreds of new cabins at the expense of passenger enjoyment. It is now far far too crowded.

Also the teenagers on board were not well controlled. They were throwing food around and were rowdy at night even putting plates outside a lift doors to try and trip people up.

Bad idea to get rid of the Labyrinth nightclub which now means the disco is in the viking crown lounge which removes another nice public room for people to enjoy a quiet chat. In fact there are no places on board to have a dignified evening without bumping into hundreds of other people and having nowhere to sit.
