Inter generational cruise to celebrate a 40th birthday.
Booking direct with Royal Caribbean from Australia difficult as it was impossible to speak to the same person twice and necessary to keep punching phone numbers to get to the right area. Call centre staff less than knowledgeable and benefits of a suite were not explained until we boarded, which required cancellation of paid packages.
Excellent for children.
Royal Genie, who was provided with our stateroom, materialised from his lamp at appropriate times and was invaluable at boarding, disembarkation and at times in between. Our cruise experience would not have been as good without his magic.
Our cabin attendant was a lovely and helpful person who worked long hours keeping our stateroom in immaculate condition.
The facilities in the Children’s club were excellent.. The children wanted to spend most of their time there.
There was a huge variety of food in the Windjammer, to provide for all tastes.
The shows were of very high quality, with professional actors.
Negatives are constant noisy music everywhere. Difficult to find a quiet place.
Shore excursions were chaotic. Had to wait for too long milling around in the hot sun ( up to an hour).
Excellent . Five Star Luxurious.
