The main reason, initially to chose Avalon was that the set up of the cabins. Also the fairs suited us as we had follow up plans with family. The service crew were constantly helpful and pleasant. Our waiter, Gabriel, went out of his way to ensure that our dining experiences were positive and enjoyable. He was always polite, gave good advice, was helpful and respectful and made us feel very valued. Our rooms were serviced efficiently and non obtrusivelly and the laundry service was highly efficient with laundry being returned either before or on the allotted time. The Cruise Director was very efficient and effective. He had a very good understanding of passengers and the itinerary. He kept us well informed of any changes and the reasons for these changes so there were no unexpected surprises, Ot would have been great to have had more opportunities to visit the sky deck but can understand the limitations . We can highly recommend this cruise.
