We chose the Baltic cruise to see St Petersburg primarily but found all the ports visited were excellent apart from Aalborg which although a nice town it wasn’t brilliant.

The Magellan was clean, the staff very helpful and friendly and our cabin a good size and very clean. We were in 6136 an ocean view. We ate in the restaurants and early sitting for dinner in the Kensington. I have coeliac disease and the staff were brilliant. The food was good, fresh and if you wanted something different the staff would help. We’re not keen on the entertainment on any cruise but did go to three lectures on Russia and they were brilliant. We wished we’d seen the other two!

There seemed to be plenty of activities with keep fit and painting. I treated myself to two facials by Julie and they were very good. You’ve got to book in advance though.

Cabin Review

Cabin Superior ocean view

Clean and nice size. Better than the P&O and Norwegian we’ve been on.
