We chose this cruise because of its itinerary. The ship was very warm throughout the entire trip in all areas including our stateroom. Our stateroom was like being in a cave. The food in the Horizon Buffet started to repeat after the third day of the cruise. The choices of the main dishes in the dining room were limited with little choices.

In the port located in La Harve, France, we chose the excursion to the Eiffel Tower and the Lourve Museum. We spent more time on the motorcoach than at both destinations. There was a lot of traffic on the way back to the ship. The tour guide rather speak to her friends on the phone rather than to attend to the needs of her guests aboard the motor coach. We spent 4 hours on the bus on the way back to the ship without a stop to use the restroom or to stretch our legs. They were more worried about making it back to the ship before it left the port. The food served at the restaurant during this excursion was sub par. The location of the restaurant was much better than the food that was served. The food was dry and the dessert was sour. The total amount of time spent on the motor coach was 6.5 hours.

One morning at the Horizon Buffet, my wife was assaulted verbally and physically by another guest. The staff at the Horizon Buffet did not know what to do to stop the incident from escalating or what to do resolve the issue. Training is needed for the staff to better assist when things like this occur in public places. They just turned a "blind eye." This incident put a real damper on the rest our cruise. We were really looking forward to our cruise and left very disappointed.

Small like a cave, NO air conditioning, only the fan was on all the time we heard the anchor raised and lowered.
