Ths trip between the land portion and the cruise was an incredible, once in a lifetime experience. The itineraries for the excursions and the ports were great and the service was seamless and impeccable. Having never to worry about managing your luggage was a pure joy! The accommodations were top notch, the food excellent (and plenty of it!) and the staff we interacted with throughout our trip were absolutely wonderful. We highly recommend spluring for a balcony on the ship if taking an Alaskan cruise so you can use it while viewing the glaciers etc. Also recommend that you sign up for a dining time so that you have the same wait staff team for your dinner as they get to know what you want/like and it is there without asking.The bed on the Golden was perfect and helped you unwind after a long but glorious day. The care and attention that Princess gives there guests is to be commended~~
