We wanted to sail on the Breeze before it leaves Galveston. We have sailed 3 times on the Dream and wanted to compare the two ships. We loved the Breeze. We always enjoy the Cove balcony rooms and room 2365 was very nice and very convenient. The entertainment was excellent-there was live music all over the ship. The Red Frog pub is lots of fun. The atrium is a great place to wait for dinner. Anytime dining was well organized and we usually had only a short wait for a table to two. The ship was packed full but the staff was always professional and helpful. Breakfast every day in the dining room was delicious. We also enjoyed very early room service for coffee on our balcony. The lido pools were very busy on sea days but the Serenity Deck was a pleasant retreat. The Cloud 9 Spa is beautiful and I enjoyed using my week long pass for the various special rooms and thermo pool. All the food was good-the pasta restaurant for lunch, the barbecue on sea days, and the convenient light meals in the Ocean Plaza. The dining room staff were excellent and made sure our food met our needs. The shows were very nice and the large Texas Crowd enjoyed the special attention they received. The Military Celebratiion was outstanding with over 75 Military and first responders being recognized. Very Patiotic and touching. Thank you Carnival for seven wonderful days.
This is our third time to have a Cove balcony and we love these rooms. The view of the water is the best, in our opinion. This room is located near the aft elevators which works well for us, since they are usually the least busy elevators and give us quick access to the lido deck dining and the rear dining room for breakfast. There is also a laundry room nearby. We did not have any noise issues from being close to those public areas, in fact the deck was very quiet especially considered good this was in late June and the ship was very, very full of families with children. When we wanted to use the forward elevators, we simply walked forward and went up to the atrium or the theatre. In seven days, we rarely had to use the stairs which is important us since we have both had hip and knee surgeries.
The rafting was fun and all the staff were helpful to us as we have limited mobility. The bus ride wasn't long and the driver provided interesting information. Our raft captain was excellent. The scenery was lovely.View All 25 River Rafting Reviews
This jeep adventure had a little bit of everything. We enjoyed the nature park and seeing horses in the surf, driving off road, spoting wildlife, the nice rum cake shop with AC and clean restrooms. Visiting "Heck" was funny and we got some good picture. The final beach spot was gorgeous and then the lunch was simple but filling-spicy grilled chicken, tasty rice and beans, salad, and cookies. The lead driver, was very informative and fun.View All 22 4X4 Jeep Adventure Reviews
