Let me preface this by saying that I have been on approximately 14 cruises before, on several different lines. Those have included Royal Caribbean, NCL, Cunard, Premier, and the Dawn Princess in 2008. My mom, sister, and I decided to take a cruise together (a bonding endeavor after my father passed away a year and a half ago). I suggested that we try the Princess line because my previous experience on the Dawn Princess was positive, and left me feeling that Princess was a step above the others. We had a wonderful time together despite the fact that unfortunately, this cruise did not prove to be so favorable and left all three of us less anxious to ever take Princess again.

I was told that the sailing was filled to capacity (about 3,000). I don't think that the ship was staffed to handle that large a crowd which explains why we encountered the disappointment.

Here are some specific examples of unacceptable problems that we encountered:

Cabin Review

Room was a bit smaller than on other ships, because what they tok away from the room, they added to the closet space. It was a larger closet area than most ships. The outside balcony was a delight!
