Traveled with children

I had chosen this cruise as everyone said you have to experience the magic. I am from Florida, so grew up around Disney world so had opportunity to get a deal on this cruise line. Took my mom, 13 year old and a 2 year old. I was disappointed in kids club - there is a focus on 3-12 year olds and then 14-17, the Edge (13 year old club) wasn't good at all. There weren't many activities and those that there were repeated most days if not throughout. Also, Disney is for kids, right? Wrong when it came to the pools and water activities. 2 year old was secluded to just the splash pad with no options for swimming (no swim diapers) and the 13 year old too young for larger pools but couldn't even get near the 2 small pools (if you can call them that) because so overcrowded especially with adults. I was so looking forward to the food, but felt the quality of the dinner food was OK. Overall, the best thing was the staff and the characters and the time they took with the kids. Just wish there could have been more of a focus on ALL kids and not just one particular age group.

Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom

Cabin 09A

Host was best thing about cabin.

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

Didn't like this port as much as the others. The beach was very crowded and would have preferred to relax more without requests to purchase things.

St. Thomas

Decided to just take open air taxi to beach and back, very easy to locate and get back. Lots of shopping close to the boat.

Castaway Cay

I wish I could have went here for all ports. It was great and needed more than the short day we had. Long walk was only drawback - if you think same thing as soon as you get off, keep walking to get to the beach part that is closer to everything. We stopped at beginning and then had to walk to food and other things.
