Just really not impressed with the cruise. The ports were awesome, but then, how can you mess up Europe? We've been on 3 Princess cruises and been extremely impressed with the customer service and care. We thought we would give Norwegian a try. We were charged $10 a piece for an onboard app that didn't work. We had the beverage package which included bar drinks less than $15. Can you tell me why soda water from the bar is so difficult to get? Everyone wanted to charge us (including the restaurants) for soda water. We finally figured out that if we ordered a scotch and soda in separate glasses, we could get it included. Our towel rack was missing from our room until the last day of our cruise. Repeatedly we had to ask for towels or breakfast cards as they were not left in our room after cleaning. We paid a lot more for an Aft Balcony room and were forced to go thru the casino (cancer zone) to get to the 5th floor to the dining room instead of letting us go down the perfectly good set of stairs available. We HATE smoking and the stench was awful! We felt like the majority of the staff was brand new and really didn't have a clue what was going on. One time I went to the bar on the 15th floor. The TV wasn't working. There were 4 bartenders working on the TV, no one being waited on until the manager came over and told them to take care of the customers and worry with the TV later. Very poor planning on the breakfast buffet. Why not put an omelet bar on one side and the prepared foods on the other side so they line will move efficiently and not have everyone waiting for those having omelets prepared. I wanted fresh fruit with my breakfast. They opened an additional buffet inside to accommodate however they had no fresh fruit on that buffet so I was still forced to stand in the line with those waiting for omelets. The manager came to me and said I could go inside to get food and I explained that there was no fresh fruit inside so I if I wanted it, I needed to stand in this line. Instead of doing something about it, he just went to others to direct them to the inside line. This was early in the trip, they could have adjusted the breakfast options to better accommodate the flow! Again, just really not impressed.

Meh. Could have been very nice. We found dirty socks, flip flops and hair accessories under our bed. Repeatedly had to ask for towels as they were not left in our room after cleaning. Our towel rack was missing from the shower door so there were just holes there. It finally was fixed the last day of our trip.
