Harmony of the Seas Cruise Review by Captdave1952
- Sail Date: January 2018
- Destination: Eastern Caribbean
- Cabin Type: Ocean View Balcony
I would not repeat my seven day Caribbean cruise on the ship. This ship is too big and there are too many people. The nickel and dime expenses add up very quickly. The dining venues were ok but not spectacular. The food was typical of any large cruise ship.. Dine on demand meant waiting ten to thirty minutes for a table and did not result in a table with any sort of ocean view. The buffets were well presented and very crowded. Once again if you want to be with 5000 people on a ship then be prepared for an impersonal experience. The ship is pretty spectacular, water slides, wave rides etc. but there are lines for everything and a lot of the restaurants and a lot of the activities are pay as you go. As an example, a mexican restaurant had an exorbitant cost for the class to make guacamole.
