Outstanding service, food, and shore excursions. We had been on one other Viking cruise (16 years before) and, if anything, everything was even better. The staff is efficient, polite, and friendly. The ship is well maintained. The excursions (both those included and those that are extra) are well-chosen, and the local guides were all excellent.

This was their Paris and the Heart of Normandy trip: The standout was Monet's Gardens at Giverny. We got there early enough to avoid the worst of the crowds so we could really appreciate the beauty of the house, gardens, and town.

There were many demonstrations (cooking, watercolors), lectures (Joan of Arc, Impressionism), and entertainers (singers and musicians) and two game nights to keep everyone entertained. Those we attended were both fun and informative.

Cabin Review

Cabin I don't remember.

Room was always clean and well-stocked. They took care of the rooms while we were on excursions/eating; they were never in the way.
