We originally booked an Aurea package balcony room but were offered a great price to upgrade to the Yacht Club...the best thing we ever did...we are now totally spoiled and will try not to cruise in the general population areas of cruise ships if we can avoid it! This cruise was great but very crowded. The Yacht Club experience was wonderful...had a great room...our butler was very attentive and the other perks (private boarding and disembarking, premium booze, private high end restaurant, etc) were the best. Because we upgraded...we still got our 2 massage's!!! There were no chair hogs in Yacht Club pool area as there were more than enough loungers. It was relaxing and there weren't a million kids running around.

The drink service was tops!

We loved the Yacht Club experience so much...we booked a weeklong cruise (Nov 11/2018) on the MSC Meraviglia from Rome and cruising Italy,France and Spain.

The room was very comfortable and the mattress' were great. In the Yacht Club we were able to select our pillow softness/firmness. Complete free access to the mini fridge/bar was very convenient as well.
