Cabin: Veranda Stateroom

Wanted to try a river cruise based on TV advertisements. This was my first river cruise and probably my last river cruise because of the cabin space. I enjoyed all the excursions which were very educational despite even though it was a holiday so some places were not available to tour, the meals was great, and staff was friendly and went above and beyond to make it an enjoyable experience and I met lots of people but was disappointed in the size of the cabins and lack of an opportunity to exercise. Because of the small size and limited spaced to move about the cabin my sciatic pain flared up and I got no relief even with the walking excursions because of the cobblestone streets and slow pace of the tours. I tried 3 times to go on deck to walk but the crew was always cleaning it early in the mornings. My next cruises will be on a larger ocean cruise ship.

Cabin Review

Veranda Stateroom

Cabin B

I am 5'6" tall and the room size was too confining making it difficult to get around to the point it caused severe sciatic pain to flare up. There was no exercise opportunity on board or massage therapy to help relieve or at least reduce the pain.
