In the last 8 years this would be our 11th cruise, 7 of which have been RCI. We chose this itinerary mainly for the overnight stop in Saint Petersburg and that it called in Oslo, Tallinn and Copenhagen.

With a free Deluxe Drinks Package and Free Gratuities, the price for an outside accessible cabin (one of our party in a wheelchair) was quite reasonable.

Over the years we've come to expect a certain standard from RCI, the food is normally great, the entertainment some of the best we've seen on land or at sea and the itineraries and arrangements very good indeed.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 8N

The cabin was quite spacious and being an accessible room, had a roll in shower.

All in all it was clean and well appointed and we had no complaints.

Port Reviews

St. Petersburg

We did take an organised tour which visited nearly all the museums, churches palaces and sights which was good, but felt very rushed.

Helsinki

We did the Hop On Hop Off bus trip, which took us to the main sights but to be honest we didn't get off because we were short on time (only 4 hours ashore). I'd like to go back, but from what I saw I am not sure if there would be much more to see.

Skagen

The town of Skagen is within an easy 10 to 15 minute walk.

Our visit was made better with a local Folk Music festival occurring during our visit, otherwise it's really just a shopping stop with not much of a saving over UK prices.
