We chose Princess because we wanted to go Direct to the Wilderness to Alaska from Vancouver. Upgrades were part of the incentives at the time of our booking. Sure enough about 1 1/2 weeks before our sail date we were upgraded to balcony rooms (we were 3 couples, linked together). Our room steward unlocked the doors between us and we were able to hang out together easily! It was the best thing that could have happened for our trip. We were able to enjoy the glaciers and other sites right from our balcony. Definitely recommend! Also, luggage was transferred for us to each place and arrived exactly where it needed to be. Princess made it extremely easy to go from one port to the next. The offered excursions were fantastic! Our trip went off without a hitch!!! The staff was outstanding. If you are planning a trip to Alaska, book with Princess. You won't be disappointed.
