We chose this ship because of the itinerary and to celebrate our 40th anniversary. We boarded around noon and embarkation was smooth and quick. We had an interior cabin which was comfortable with ample storage for our clothes and personal items. The bathroom was stocked with a liquid soap on the shower wall and 2 small bars of soap.
Dining: We had My Time Dining, food was mediocre at best, menu rarely changed, Breakfast in the dining room was terrible and choices were limited, the windjammer offered the normal breakfast items on the buffet, on the last day everything was cold...bacon, eggs, potatoes, worst breakfast ever. Desserts were stale, boring and lacked flavor. Twice we were charged for alcohol and had to go to guest services to have it removed. I'm still at a loss as to how our account was charged since we never ordered anything but Ice tea or coffee in the dining room. No explanation was offered other than sometimes mistakes happen. The coffee station outside the Windjammer was available 24 hrs, problem was the coffee was always old and lukewarm. Cafe Latte-tudes offered Ben and Jerry's, sandwiches and desserts, left over dinner rolls were passed off as pastries by filling them with some kind of jam and covered in powdered sugar to disguise them, they were disgusting. Restaurant hours were very limited across the venue and complimentary beverages....ice tea, lemonade and flavored juices, with the exception of lukewarm coffee or tea bags were non existent and tightly locked up in the Windjammer.
Entertainment: the dancers and singers need more practice, most performances were on par with a high school performing arts department at best.
On board activities: 75% consisted of Spa facial rejuvenation, Art Auctions, trivia, self led card and board games, Casino Activities, recorded ball room music for your listening and dancing pleasure, shows were held in the Atrium which had limited seating and was very crowded. No comedy club or shows were offered. Only 2 movies were offered on a 12 day cruise and both were shown in the Masquerade Theater and Spanish subtitles were added in large print across the bottom of the screen making it impossible to read the English narrative at the end of the movie. Bingo was offered twice at a cost of $39 or $79 depending on the pkg . Soccer played non stop on the outdoor screen for all 12 days. and when soccer wasn't playing Army Fail videos played on a repeat loop the entire cruise.
The itinerary was the only saving grace. We have no plans to ever sail on RCI again anytime soon......overpriced, boring activities, talent-less shows and mediocre food at best, no thanks!
We ordered the steak dinner, it was tough and and below average. Show was enjoyable but would not order the meal again.View All 36 Flamenco Show Reviews

We did this on our own. Boarded the train and went to Monaco, it took about 25 min to get there. The casino is within walking distance, easy to do on your own.
