We wanted a family-friendly but not Disney cruise because of our 5 yr old and 10 yr old. This ship waa perfect! From waterworks to sports activities, Club Ocean and pg comic times, we were able to keep them happy with lots of options. Plenty of adult things too- we enjoyed the shows, the music performers, the crazy #funsquad shenanigans with Cousin Cookie and his crew. Dinners in Northern Lights were delicious (we loved our waiters team of Anthony, Julio Cesar and Florin). My youngest was spoiled by sweet hostess Rashida both mornings for brunch Southen Lights and evenings in Northern. Never came across a crew member who did not have a smile or greeting for us. It was a wonderful first cruise for the boys and as a family. Last cruise for us was our honeymoon 13 years ago...we won't wait that long this time!

Shore excursions:

Costa Maya - Maya Adventure Park. Good but they need a map. Zip lining was very safe and cool. Enjoyed kids area and relaxation pools.

Cabin Review

Cabin Balcony

A family of 4 in a cabin is tight but worked for us. Would not advise for older children but for our boys the bunk bed style was perfect. Other than sleeping and checking in with each other, we did not spend much time in the room. To keep the room cool...close the curtains during the day. We also took a small clip on fan and kept air circulating. Our steward was Kadeck and he took good care of us. No complaints.

Port Reviews

Roatan

We did the beach lagoon. Perfect day, not the best for snorkeling. Did several things in that area- local lunch, fish foot treatment, beach
