The MSC Seaside is beautiful. Entering the ship we are diverted to the second entrance where families with children register them for their ID bracelet. This is where the slide liability waivers should be completed. But they are not. Therefore, when we try to use the water slides, first we have to wait in a very long, unorganized line to complete the form prior to sliding.
Two weeks prior to our cruise we upgraded to the Premium Drink Package. Our room keys did not show the Premium Drink Package. At customer service we were informed that their brand new high tech ship is not equipped to change passengers room keys. They can only reprint them. Their solution was to tape a sticker on our keys with the proper package code. Every time our keys got wet we had to go back to customer service for new stickers.
Our balcony cabin had drab walls decorated with pictures of sardines. The space is small and lacks storage space. The closest door design makes it impossible to access your clothes. Not to mention that the entire cabin has two drawers for clothes. There is a third drawer, but it is faux. Finally, the phone is useless except for cabin to cabin calls since no directory is provided.

The balcony holds two chairs and an end table which would be fine if it were not for being smoked out by inconsiderate neighbors (which is strictly prohibited). The bathroom is also small, but the design is horrible. The shower is barely manageable and unpleasant to use. The toilet is too close to the vanity causing my knees to be pushed to the side.
