From the moment we approached the Vili, the customer service was fantastic. It started as we were personally greeted by the cruise director as we got out of the taxi and didn't stop until we had been escorted to the airport and checked our bags at 4:00 in the morning in Prague for our return home. Food was great and plentiful. Every staff member, from the smiling housekeeper who greeted us everytime we saw her to the wait staff who was very attentive and learned our names and preferences very quickly, made us feel special. The cruise director was amazing both as an entertainer and organizing everything. The hotel director was surprisingly talented as a singer as well. Not only was the staff great, but we made great friends with other guests on board. The shore excursions provided a great overview of the cities and villages along the way. I only wished we had more time on our own in each place. Our favorite excursion was probably Terazin, the Jewish Ghetto. It was both educational and heartbreaking. Definitely will cruise again with Viking.
Room was small as you might expect, but very efficient and nice. Our only disappointment was the balcony was not very useful because ships would frequently double park when in port. But the balcony was a plus while cruising though we spent very little time in the room except for sleeping.
