My wife and I got a great deal on this cruise. We have always stayed away from the NY/NJ/Balt to Bahamas / Port Canaveral itinerary. We just thought it was a blah itinerary. We were wrong. We met friends in Port Canaveral and had a great time. Coco Cay was simple and perfect. The trip to Cabbage Beach in Nassau is a favorite or ours. Three fun stops and some great days at sea. We've been on big ships and small ships and the Adventure OTS was right in the middle. It was easy to navigate and not Oasis long. We had a 6th floor forward balcony. The location was perfect. A simple walk down a flight of stairs to the Promenade, casino and theater. The staff was great. The food was good and plentiful. The comedians were very good. The stage shows were ok. The ice show was very good. Overall we had a great time on the ship. We spent most of the days in the Solarium since we didn't bring the kids. It was peaceful and just what we needed. Were there kids on board? Yes. Did doors slam? Yes. Could the food in the Windjammer be better? Yes. We still found a way to enjoy ourselves. We found that the buffet items in the main dining room for breakfast and lunch were better than the Windjammer. It was also easier to find a seat and get good service. We got great value from the alcohol and non-alcohol drink packages. The internet worked well. The Flow Rider is great. The shop's prices were reasonable. Embarkation and Disembarkation were simple. Port Bayonne was easy to get into and out of. Overall, I'd take the Adventure and this itinerary any time and would be guaranteed a great time.

What a great unexpected pleasure...
