This was our first river cruise.Service aboard was outstanding. Our Program Director, Nikolas, remembered everyone's name every time he saw you! The excursions we're great and the tour guides were very informative and nice

I recommend not taking every extra excursion so as not to feel too scheduled. Wandering around on your own in each location after your morning excursion is best

The food was fantastic! We met nice people that we will remain friends with. During our trip, the water level on the Rhone was high so we were rarely able to sit on the upper deck due to all the bridges that we passed under. We ended up playing poker in the lounge during the days when we were moving down the river. Spend as much free time wandering around Lyon and Avignon as possible! They are both beautiful in very different ways. If you like churches, you will love this cruise.

They are tight but there is plenty of storage space. My huge suitcase slid easily under the bed. The bathroom is small but also has space for storage. WiFi is very spotty so sign up for an International data plan with you wireless carrier.
