We picked this cruise because it was a 4 day cruise for a good deal. The only other cruise we have done is the Disney Dream. We loved it but didn't want to spend the money this time. Well you get what you pay for apparently.
The cabins were an adequate size but the beds were hard as a rock. The bathroom was in dire need of updates. There was a perpetual sewer odor in our bathroom we noticed on other parts of the ship as well. It was so bad at times even the staff was apologizing. Our cabin steward was nice and did a nice job. We got a connecting room but the door was locked between the rooms and only they could unlock it. We had to ask about 4 times for someone to unlock it. They didn't seem to understand what we wanted. Once unlocked you can't lock it back for privacy at any time. That was annoying. We could hear kids run up and down the hallways at night which was annoying.
The food was average. The fresh fruit was delicious however. The Chopps restaurant charged us an extra $25 a person to eat there and it was the best meal we had. The buffet had the same things every day for breakfast and lunch. It was fine. Supper you pick an appetizer, meal, and dessert. The food was fine but nothing stood out amazing. We've had better meals at Outback. Also most of our food was either lukewarm or cold. Nothing was super hot. Plus they sit you with strangers. I get some people enjoy that but it was so loud in the dining room it was just too hard to try to talk to people who weren't directly right beside you. The wait staff was nice.
The best part of the ocean view is the natural light. We couldn't really see out our windows due to some film they have on them so it wasn't worth the extra money. The beds are rock hard and bathroom smells. Plenty of storage.
