Tired old ship

This ship either needs a major overhaul or to be retired from fleet. Carpet, paint, plumbing, cabinets,... all show a lot of wear. Sewer smells around ship were unacceptable. One daughter & fam had no hot water for over 24 hrs. Every door in our suite would not close properly & made noises. Bathroom was filthy with mildew & visible grime when we got in. After many cruises with Princess, this was my first disappointment! Unfortunately we had 3 families join us this year & were embarrassed! No upgraded IT services & photo services like newer ships. Really disappointing experience! Also- low energy cruise director didn’t help matters. British Invasion show was excellent. Heartland Duo was also excellent & we followed them around ship. If you are not a seafood lover, options in dining room menu are limited. Food quality also seemed off par on this cruise. We usually love to watch a few movies under the stars... but the selection of movies (Star Wars, sci fi, etc) was not appropriate for this group of mostly over 55 yrs of age... bad choices!
