We are not massive cruise experts, this is only our third, so these are the opinion of a cruise novice but hopefully they could help others.
We arrived early for the embarkation because of the time of our flight and we were pleased that they did start the process early so for us it was very smooth indeed. The staff seemed very pleasant and amenable and in no time we were enjoying our first taste of the ship and we were extremely impressed. A brief tour took us to the bar, we were too early to go to our cabin, so we made the most of a very quiet bar and had a few drinks before we were given the clearance to go to the cabin.
We had chosen an interior cabin as my wife prefers a dark room to sleep but chose the slightly larger room for a family and although we were happy for the two of us, I wouldn't be so happy with a youngster in tow. The third bed being a bunk screwed to the wall, did get in our way slightly but to imagine it folded down at night, for me, would have made the room cramped. Storage space for us was good, again with a third person may have struggled, but all in all, we were very satisfied with the layout of the cabin.
