The ship is huge and offers so many activities that we needed all seven days to explore everything. We enjoyed the perfect amount of rest and relaxation, while also enjoying activity. We did my time dining in the American Icon restaurant, and it seemed like one side had better service than the other. However, the food was always great, especially the desert. We always ate breakfast at Windjammer, which has a buffet with anything you could want on it. Sorrento's was always the go to in between for pizza. One place you have to visit is Cups and Scoops... Cupcake Sunday... Your choice of cupcake and your choice of Ben and Jerry's ice cream with whatever toppings you want. The stateroom was amazing and always kept really clean. One thing that was surprisingly pretty clean all the time was the public restrooms, but the staff did a good job keeping everything clean. The entertainment was really good! The bands played well and singers sang well. Jazz band was a favorite. Boleros was always full of Latin flavor, and the Temperature band in Dazzles did a great Earth, Wind and Fire tribute. My favorite port of call was St. Martin, even though it's still pretty damaged from the two hurricanes, earthquakes, and tsunami they had. There are lots of damaged buildings, buildings that are completely gone, and shipwrecks in the water still. However, we did a cool excursion through Royal Caribbean that took us on a double decker bus to a rum tasting, gelato place, and cheese tasting. We also got to see Maho Beach for a short time. Overall, we had a blast! Spent too much and ate too much, but it was worth it and you only live once so we splurged a little.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony
Cabin 7D 8688
Clean, spacious for a cruise ship. Enjoyed having the ocean view balcony. Relaxing to hear the ocean, and you don't have to go to the public areas to enjoy the view so it's great for romance.
