My husband and I wanted a short, relaxing getaway. We also wanted to try out Ovation of the Seas. The cruise was perfect in every way. I loved how modern the ship was. Everything felt bright and clean. Considering how many people are on board a ship of this size, embarkation went extremely smoothly. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the solarium and the restaurant nearby. The windjammer was often overcrowded, so we chose from the many other restaurant options available. We found room service to be quick and delicious. We chose room service on the formal night as we ssre not into the suit and tie stuff. I have read a lot of negative reviews about Ovation and can't understand them. It is a big ship. With lots of people. People need to chill out a bit. Enjoy yourselves. I certainly preferred Ovation to Radiance. Both times we have been on Radiance, there were toilets blocking up everywhere for the entire cruise. NOW THAT IS A TURN-OFF.
