This cruise was recommended by a Royal Caribbean phone consultant. I am so glad he did! My husband and my 3 daughters went. They are ages 19-22. The ship is beautiful! Embarkation was painless and quick. We were on the ship in less than 30 minutes. My daughters went straight to the pool while my husband and I explored the promenade deck. This was our first family cruise in over 15 years and our first 7 day cruise. We enjoyed the shows- the comedians were so funny--my jaw hurt from laughing so much. The Karaoke in the "On-Air" lounge was great. The venue is a bit small for the amount of people so if you want a seat go early for after dinner drinks and wait for it to begin. We loved our ports of call. We had a beautiful day in Nassau and the water was so clear. We had one rainy day that was the day we were in St. Thomas. We were sad about that, but that's the only day it rained so we were lucky! One of my daughters and I took a train tour in St. Kitts while my other daughters shopped in the area right off the pier. We spent many nights in the Schooner Lounge listening to the piano player! A shout out to our bar server Francis- never really waited for drinks and always brought us water bottles. He has a great sense of humor. Our room steward was awesome-our room was alway clean and extra pillows were great. My favorite part was the balcony. I loved sitting out there just looking at the water. We were on the 6th floor right near the entrance for the lobby. This was great because the Boardwalk was on this floor as well as Schooner Lounge. We could look right down on the Promenade area and there were steps right there to go down to the promenade instead of waiting for an elevator. We did specialty dining 3 nights. Wonderland was interesting! I loved the decor, but the food was not our cup of tea. I knew it would be different, but a little to different for us. I am sure others would love it! Chops was great and we will certainly do it again. The Mexican restaurant was great! Best margaritas on the ship. The only thing that was a disappointment to one of daughters wasn't any plain meat tacos, but the meal, especially the banana/chocolate dessert was very good! We found all the employees that we dealt with friendly and helpful. We had a rainy day in St. Thomas, but it started after we already arrived at Megan's Bay. We had just set up our chairs, and then the thunder, lightning and rain began. We never sat in our chairs or went in the water. We decided not to wait for the transport back to the ship that was part of the excursion, and just took a taxi back to the ship. When I went to the excursion desk, they said they were refunding 50% of the cost. I thought that was fair since we did use the transport. The excursion desk was very helpful with questions too. I had to visit guest services a few times, and even though there was a line, it moved quickly. Very helpful!

We loved our vacation so much that we booked another on the Anthem of the Seas for next year. My 2 daughters that are married along with their husbands and my granddaughter are coming. I can't wait!

It was crowded at the pool, but with over six thousand people on board, that 's to be expected. The only suggestion I would make it to have a vegetarian menu in the main dining room as well as the specialty restaurants that has at least 4 options (pasta too!). One of my daughters didn't have much to choose from. One of the specialty restaurants gave her some steamed veggies as the main course. They didn't tell her what she was getting just brought it out. Luckily the sides were good.
