Sail Date: Jun 2018
Cabin: Ocean View Balcony

This cruise was booked 15 months in advance, as soon as the itinerary for June 2018 became available. We wanted 3 balcony staterooms so the balcony partitions could be removed to make one space.

Anthem of the Seas was the only ship considered because it offers so many activities for young teens (4), their parents(4) and grandparents (2).

The only very slight disappointment was that this itinerary was the same one we had for our last Family Cruise in 2015...but the ports of call were ones everyone likes.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony

Cabin 3D

There is no closet as on other ships, but the 2 cupboards were sufficient for our hanging clothes (and I take ALOT of outfits!). Drawer space was adequate.

On the TV, we could check our onboard expense account, reservations, Cruise Compass.

The bathroom had plenty of room.

Balcony space was big enough for 2 chairs and a small table.

I take many magnetic hooks. They hold all the purses I take (10!), notes, jackets and in the bathroom, I hang make-up bags.

Port Reviews

St. Maarten

Everyone took the water taxi to town and spent several hours on the beach. The water is crystal clear and warm.

King's Wharf

We did not take an excursion in Bermuda. Snorkel Beach Park is a short distance from the dock and for $5.00 per person is a good place to spend some beach time.
