My husband and I chose this cruise because we have always wanted to visit Mexico, and Royal Caribbean had a great deal when we booked back in May 2018. We sailed June 25th 2018 for 5 days. We cruised on Majesty of the Seas with stops in Costa Maya, and Cozumel Mexico.
Embarkation and disembarkation went smoother than expected, embarkation only took 15-20 minutes when we first got on the boat. Now getting off the boat once in Mexico, took longer, about 30 minutes, since there were long lines as hundreds of people were getting off the ship at the same time. Disembarkation once back to the US was also smooth, but again about 30 mins process.
The Ship itself was very nice, big, with 12 floors, pools on the deck (kind of small though, it was very crowded in there, so we did not get in). Also no big slide. But TONS of lounging chairs, huge screen TV, Main lobby, shops, Spa, fitness club, Casino, Rock climbing wall, game rooms, bar areas in and outside, a lounge, 3 events venues, elevators, a kid's playing area, Basketball court, 2 dining rooms, 1 big buffet style restaurant spanning the whole 11th floor (The Windjammer Cafe), A deli, a Johnny Rockets on the 12 th floors opened late for snacks. I probably forgot other areas, but these are the main ones I can remember. It can be a little confusing at first to find your way, however every floor has the ship's map and configuration, even the elevator has a list of what's on every floor, so you can find your way pretty easily.
On the small side, just enough for 2 people. Not much space to walk around, but firm big bed.
