Sail Date: May 2018

We came upon this cruise through the tour company we use in Los Angeles and decided to join. We embarked in Passau, Germany and meandered through one of the most beautiful rivers in the world to Budapest, Hungary.

Our cabin was a tad small particularly the bathroom, but it served the purpose. We were well taken care of by the crew members and were specially pleased with the fine dining experience throughout the trip. Lunches and dinners were mostly 3 courses and beautifully served with paring wines. Staff was efficient and courteous, especially, when some of us had special dietary requirements.

Though we were only a handful of non-French speaking group, the crew made sure we understood the announcements (French followed by English). Shore excursions were also arranged for our English speaking group and all the guides spoke perfect English. The only misgiving we had was the lack of accommodations for those with physical disabilities. When on shore excursions, most able bodied passengers simply ignored some folks in our English speaking group with visible disabilities. They would hurry to get on the coach and took all the front seats thus making it very challenging for those with limited physical abilities to make it to the remaining seats in the back of the coach. I am not sure if they take physical disability in France as seriously as we do in the States but it is the fact that simply can't be overlooked.

Cabin Review

Small but functional with sufficient closet space to store 2 sizable suit cases. Cabin is by no means considered luxury but comfortable and clean.
