We chose this cruise mainly for NCL's Freestyle cruising, so we could eat when we wanted, drink when we wanted and just have a good time.
Embarkation - sheer mess. Half our fault, half the cruise port. Taxis pull into a completely separate area than other modes of transportation, so we had half of our party split up (as half of us took the baggage and older people and the rest walked). One couple in our group split, but didn't hand each other passports, figuring we would meet up after baggage drop and proceed to customs. Long story short, we were all kinds of crazy meeting back up. I am disappointed that NCL doesn't have separate lanes for anything less than platinum. I feel silver and gold travelers likely have their "stuff" together and can get through embarkation quickly and easily. Also, every traveller entered from the right... had to walk in one lane past everyone else (20 or so agents), then get your card, and walk back through one lane to exit back out right again. Colossal waste of time when they could have had it flow much better.
Security crew was fine... no issues getting on or off the ship in ports.
Zero complaints. Very friendly attendant, room was always clean although I rarely saw him... I did go to a friend's balcony though, and for the price they paid, I would hope the NCL staff goes through and touches up some more of the paint and things. Lots of chips and cracks and was not as clean as our inside cabin.
