We have been cruising with Carnival since 2005, generally taking 2 cruises a year. Due to schedules and availability, we had cruises on Royal Caribbean, Holland America, and Princess between our last Carnival cruise and our recent cruise on the Legend. It was very evident that things had changed since our last Carnival cruise.

We sailed on the Legend, May 29, 2018 from Seattle for Alaska. We were in cabin 6299, an inside cabin, with early dinner seating. We had sailed on the Island Princess to Alaska, July 2017. Having already been to all the ports, our intention was to relax and enjoy the scenery, which did not disappoint. We were however a little disappointed with some aspect of our cruise. I try to be brief...

EMBARKATION: Embarkation was a breeze, quick and efficient. From the time we arrived at the dock to the time we sat down for lunch was maybe 45 minutes.
