We wanted to sail the Baltic, my adult daughter and I. Although we are Royal Caribbean Diamond Plus members, we opted for the NCL Breakaway. We are so glad to give NCL another chance (we sailed the Escape once). I cannot begin to say enough good things about the food. NCL food was incredible each and every night as were their desserts, something Royal has no idea how to make.

The entertainment was great too. Burn the Floor should not be missed. We enjoyed Howl and the Moon dueling piano sing-a-longs most nights. The theater events get very crowded too.

The staff were great, there were always enough staff to get our drinks and/or take our dinner orders. I would say, there were just not enough public spaces to sit. The Atrium has plenty of chairs but they were always busy there. There wasn't enough seats to go and chill out. The weather was still quite chilly most days. Sea days, I really felt the crowds, especially in the garden cafe, elevators and Atrium. There were extremely long lines for guest services, On Board Credit, shore excursions. The internet speed was pretty bad.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B1

Great center wheelchair accessible cabin. Large balcony which was typically too chilly to use, but it was a great room. Clint our cabin attendant was awesome. Made sure we had ice morning and night.
