My husband and I have just returned from our first ever cruise ... we chose Norwegian Epic as a friend recommended it and we liked the idea of the premium all inclusive package which included all our alcohol, food (excluding the speciality restaurants, but plenty of choice) tips and 1 litre of water per day.

Embarkation was so quick, well organised and we were on board in Barcelona by midday . Our cabin was ready by 2.30. We were cabin 13136, midship with balcony. Plenty of room , lots of storage and yes, the bathroom arrangement is a little odd, but didn't annoy us. We were a little surprised to see 14 bottles of water on the table... this took up a lot of space so we had to put them all on a shelf behind the sofa... I had thought a better idea would have been to give 2 bottles per day... beware ... if you are offers water at the epic theatre entrance don't assume it's free.... it cost us $7.95 per bottle!!! Water is NOT free if you ask at the bar or in the main dining rooms.... only the water left in your room is free ( if you have the premium all inclusive deal as we did).

We loved Spice H2O as it was adult only area.... great pool are with 2 hot tubs and a fab snack buffet area which was on from midday until about 9pm serving burgers, fries, salad, chicken and cake. The bar service was great and the World Cup was shown every night on a huge screen which made for a great atmosphere.
